Hello, hello! Today’s post was inspired entirely by that beautiful black and white Los Ojos blanket/throw by Pendleton. It would also look amazing as a wall hanging if you have high enough ceilings, white walls, and lots of bright light flooding in. Besides that, Southwestern style is one of my favourite trends because it’s centered around lots of cozy fabrics, textured elements, and geometric and graphic patterns and prints. Really, it’s a winner all around. I’ve been mostly seeing it in rugs as that’s probably the easiest and most high impact way to bring it in to a room, but for this design board, I wanted to show you a few other ways you could add it to any room. As with everything, too much can seem contrived, so to balance these, I would add a few touches of either mid-century or industrial design in furniture or lighting and a few more gold accent pieces because gold is everything. Is there something about Southwestern inspired style that you particularly love and have in your home? Tell me all!
