I have such a love affair with blue. It’s a beautiful, diverse colour and there is no hue of blue that even remotely annoys me or gives me anxiety. Delft Blue in particular, is absolutely gorgeous. It is named after the iconic blue and white pottery made in the city of Delft in Holland in the 17th century. History, y’all. It was a status symbol for the wealthy and influential back then and it’s easy to see why- there’s still something so very regal and refreshing about it and it works in all mediums- in couture gowns, interior design, or, oh, a Delft Blue-inspired wedding would be spectacular too. So without further chit-chat, on today’s edition of 5 Pins to Love, here is an ode to Delft Blue.
