[Family] It's Moving Day! - So Fresh & So Chic

It’s Moving Day! Welcome, controlled chaos. We are leaving beautiful, lively Pasadena behind and moving to the mountains! I’m terribly excited although it is bittersweet. Luckily, we will still be fairly close to Pas although where we are moving to feels completely different. Much less urban, for one. C’est la vie, right? At a certain point all of your decisions go from exclusively “What do I want?” to a mixture of “What do I want, but most importantly, what would be best for the kids?” and that’s alright by me. For one, it means Mr. Tall and I are finally, officially, grown up’s. That’s a pretty big deal around here. What was that moment when you realized you were “grown up”? Since my next blog post is scheduled for next week, once we have sort of unpacked and are settled (I hope!), I wanted to do a quick round up of what’s been going on around here lately other than preparing for the move.

Dawn over #Pasadena. I fell in love with this vibrant, lively city the first time I visited 18 months ago, heavily pregnant with the Baby and unsure of much, except that it would be home. Now here we are: just one more sleep before we move away and I'm all mixed up in joy and sadness. Still so much packing to do and each box reminds me of how crazy this past year has been. One whole year away from family and friends, in a new country, forging ahead, just the four of us. I never imagined anything like it! But as they say, change is the only constant and I'm looking forward to living amongst those beautiful mountains and starting fresh.
