You wouldn’t normally think mustard yellow and blush pink would make such a fab combination but when they’re together, they’re pretty bomb, and just as pleasing to the eye as pink walls are in a room. When I think mustard and blush, I think of tear drop shaped mid-century modern patterns and yet there is also something very contemporary and of-the-moment about it too. Plus, mustard is one of my most favourite colours to wear in the Fall anyway and, when paired with blush pink, for me it’s super cheerful and feminine in a quirky, fun, Zooey Deschanel way.
Speaking of, now that it has arrived, Fall in LA is pretty amazing. I love the crisp air every morning, how the forever-blue skies are now punctuated with grand rolling clouds, and how the mountains are covered in green, green, green. I’ve never seen them so lush and it’s such a nice change from the grim, dry look they sport throughout the summer. So, while this season lasts, no matter how brief, I plan to enjoy every second and today I’m celebrating it with this mustard yellow and blush pink inspiration board. Enjoy!

Before you go, tell me your favourite colour combination for Fall! I love discovering new pairings and moods.
Until next time,
Really this is a fall pairing?! I love it! How fresh!!
My favorite?! cream and mustard… or even dark beige.
Cream and dark beige is so classic and year-round! Cream and mustard sounds really good too. I can see charcoal looking super nice with both of those.
