1. Introducing Cloud Island
First came Pillowfort and it was amazing. Now, Target is introducing Cloud Island! This is Target’s brand new line of nursery decor and baby gear and it is ridiculously adorable. The line launches on May 28th but I’ve got a sneak peek for you right here! Modern and graphic with pops of whimsy is how I would describe it. The line debuts with three collections: Floral Fields, Adventure Awaits, and Black & White. There are lots of elements that can be mixed and matched to perfection to create a completely unique and oh-so-stylish place for your babe at, well, Target prices. It doesn’t get better than that!
2. Interior Design
Next week, I’ll be starting a new Home Tours feature on the blog. Consider this a preview into the kind of gorgeous, inspiring spaces you’ll be seeing on the blog in the future. This ridiculously stunning home in Australia, Iluka House, was re-designed by Alexander & Co. and it is one space that I have pinned in it’s entirety ever since discovering it a couple of days ago. I keep going back to it, marveling at it’s style and the drop-dead gorgeous interiors – not to mention the exteriors! You MUST see the full house tour over at Est Living!
3. Pattern Play
Ok, I get it, palm print isn’t new, by any means, BUT it is one of those evergreen patterns, if you will. It is forever chic. If you tire of palm print dresses, whip out that palm leaf art print. If that doesn’t work, how about a couple of decorative throw pillows in a palm print? Pair it with white, with pink or peach, pop it into a Scandinavian living room, a Bohemian bedroom, or a modern nursery- wear it or decorate with it- you literally cannot go wrong. Here’s a round up of my favourite palm leaf pieces right now and the links to shop them!
4. A Minimalist Wardrobe
I’ve been really interested in the concept of a capsule wardrobe lately, and so when this minimalist wardrobe guide by Aescence popped up in my Pinterest feed just the other day, I knew I had to share it with you. What do you think? Do you love it or not so much?
5. Flashback Friday
Metallics are still going strong in interior design and this post on copper details at home is still one of the most popular posts on the blog, and a personal favourite! Take a peek if you haven’t already and let me know what you think.
Hope you enjoyed Vol. 21 of Friday Finds. As always, leave me a comment below to share your thoughts, and have a wonderful weekend!
