In recognition of the weather in LA finally turning cooler, this week’s Friday Finds are all about cozy Fall days, slow living, and looking ahead to celebrating with family and friends.

1. Blog of the Week
I stumbled across Lobster & Swan yesterday afternoon and I spent the next hour absorbed in the absolutely beautiful content and imagery. One of the UK’s original lifestyle blogs (from 2007!), Lobster & Swan is thoughtful, curated, and full of fresh ideas and inspiration. From interior design to arts & crafts, recipes, travel and book reviews, it embodies the concept of slow living. This photo below, although from a book review, is the perfect visual representation of the feeling I had while perusing this lovely blog- calm, composed, and sophisticated without the fuss. You feel me? Oh, and as if that wasn’t enough, Jeska and her husband, Dean, also have their own lifestyle shop, The Future Kept.

2. An Apple Pie for Cozy Fall Days
This Custardy Crème Fraîche Apple Pie recipe is at the top of my list for Thanksgiving dessert this year. It looks absolutely delicious and fairly simple, which is a must for me, because although I love baking I just don’t seem to have the time anymore to tackle fussy recipes. And, after all, isn’t that the charm of apple pie? The best ones are homemade, uncomplicated, and comforting, I hope you give this recipe a try and, if you do, please let me know how you liked it!

3. The Earliest, Coziest, Holiday Gift Guide for Her that You’ve Seen this Year!
Just 11 Fridays until Christmas! Yeah, it’s coming up so quick, as the end of the year usually does. August might as well not exist because it’s gone in a blink, as is September. I find October is the last slow month before its Christmas and New Year’s, and we get to start all over again next year, if we’re lucky! So here we go, the earliest, smallest, and coziest Holiday Gift Guide for Her that you’ve seen this year!
4. How to Style a Backyard Picnic for Two
If you loved the modern holiday table I styled last year with Sara Baig Designs, then you’ll love how this cazh but elegant backyard picnic for two, looks! If you’re somewhere warm like the West Coast, this would be a perfect way to spend Thanksgiving with your babe.

P.S.: This is a Tumblr gem that I discovered on Pinterest, so if you know whose photo this is, please let me know so I can credit it properly!
5. Flashback Friday
Here’s a throwback to a post I wrote two years ago on dressing for cozy Fall days when you still need to look presentable and go to work haha. Happily, it is still just as relevant, and full of effortlessly stylish Fall outfit inspo, as it was back then. I’ve also updated the post to include a few gorgeous Fall basics, sweaters, coats and boots, all under $100!
Have a wonderful and cozy weekend!
