I have a thing for art. A kind of love/hate thing when it comes to choosing art, specifically, but I will admit spotting abstract art in neutral tones – all over my Pinterest feed – has me seeing heart eyes. The art is eye-catching in its simplicity. It is both soothing and intriguing because your focus is automatically drawn to the colours and shapes used- and the spaces where both are missing. These pieces are thoughtful and quietly impactful. Note that although all of the examples below happen to showcase this graphic art in Scandinavian-style muted interiors, these will work perfectly in more vibrant spaces too, as a perfect counterbalance to the busy-ness elsewhere.

I’m sharing some of my favourite prints below, with the one by Riikka Kantinkoski being at the top of my list followed closely by the Object Blanc piece by Danish studio Atelier CPH. Which one is your favourite?

Until next time,
