1. 9 Ways to Style a Fireplace Mantel
This year, my goal is to show you styling tips straight from my own home. There’s lots more of my home featured on Reels on Instagram.
Today, I’m going to show you 9 different ways that I’ve styled my fireplace mantel. The fireplace is right in the center of our open concept main floor (which also houses our kitchen and dining area). It is along the longest wall in the room, between a window and the patio doors. Basically, it is central when it comes to the design of the space and where your eye inevitably goes. Styling the fireplace is a great way for me to exercise my design skills and show off my decor. I hope this brings you some inspiration as you style a fireplace mantel in your own home!

Gimme all the plants and flowers!

You can never go wrong with moody art and greenery. Small painting by Brittany Smith Art.

Less is more! I cut the branch from one of our trees. The art is from Attica Press, the vase is from H&M Home and the ceramic knot is Studio McGee for Target.

More of that moody art and a bust because everything always looks more curated with a bust! Small painting is by Brittany Smith, the bust is from Etsy.

A collection of vases, books, objects and busts. This is definitely a more is more look but I still love it so much!

A collection of thrifted books plus art, flowers and again, a small bust, makes for a lovely impactful but simple arrangement.

One of my most loved mantel styles on Instagram! Everything came together beautifully here.

The showstopping artwork here is from Octavia Tomyn and such a treasured piece! The candlesticks, vase and gold plate are from H&M Home, the air dry clay beads are a DIY.

A close up view but one of my most favourite designs ever! The large bust, gold plate, candle stick and vase are H&M Home, the small bust is from Etsy, and the air dry clay bead garland is a DIY.

3. Scandinavian Style in Kids Rooms & Free Printable Art!
Scandinavian style has gone from trendy to timeless and its easy to see why- it’s simple, unfussy and modern. Kids’ rooms don’t have to be pastel and traditional (unless that’s your thing, in which case you do you, girl). At first glance, the minimalist vibe might not be for everyone but I think given how many toys and things kids tend to accumulate, the cleaner the overall design of their rooms, the better it is!
